    This place gets 5 stars from me for the fried catfish. It's the best!!!! Plus the people are so friendly. I was raised in Marion until I was 9 and I love to come here when I visit. The corn fritters never seem to be done in the center and I would steer away from the pie but the catfish, oh the catfish!!!!

    We have eaten at this restaurant about 10 times, usually the food is good, but the last time we ate there, the service was terrible, asked 3 times for additional fish and was told , it was turned into cook. They were not busy, the cook had been out front talking to a waitress. We asked for bill and left.

    I had the BBQ sandwich basket: chopped pork with "chow" slaw. So yummy! I really enjoyed it with their Gold sauce, but also liked their hot sauce.  I got to taste their fried okra, corn nuggets and coleslaw; all were delicious. I also heard the catfish is amazing from multiple people too.  

    Our waitress was a real sweetheart and took great care of our large scattered group of about 12. We split our bill several ways with everyone all scattered across multiple tables, but our tickets were all correct and everyone enjoyed the food. None of us were from the area but several of us had visited several times in recent years and they keep coming back to KB. Now I know why and if I'm ever in Marion again... I'll be back too!

    I live out of the state and this is the first place I go to when I come back. It's a must. Try the bbq sandwich and catfish fillets.

    I heart u dearly kB bbq! Yum yum bbq sandwich with extra chow and fried pickles..my go to!
